I am Nadia working with SPARC i-e Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child since June 2003.I had done my Masters in Business Economics from Punjab University in 2003.
Reason why I joined SPARC is that everyone demands about one’s rights if one is adult. All people listen to him/her and value his/her opinion but children are not heard by adults in
Pakistan just because they are small and adults think they don’t have enough knowledge and experiences in life.
Children don’t have right to vote that’s why political leaders don’t think to plan anything for the plight of children during their tenure and even when they go to general public and ask them for votes they never inform people that they will take any steps for betterment of children.
This blog page will highlight the issues regarding child rights in Pakistan like Birth Registration, Juvenile Justice System, Education, child labor, domestic child labor bonded child labor, child participation,corporal punishment etc.
